The blog article below had me in tears. I completely agree. I think back to when Livia was an infant. When she was only a couple months old, I looked forward to each milestone and was so eager for them to occur. I couldn't wait for the cooing, smiling, rolling over, sitting up unsupported, crawling, talking, walking etc. that I feel like her first year (and every year thereafter) flew by so incredibly fast. Even though I'm not in a hurry to reach those milestones with Madison, I'll still be excited for when those milestones happen. I'm sure time will move just as fast, if not faster....but I'll try to savor the moments, even if stressed or sleep deprived because I know it will be over before I know it.
As I write this Madison is asleep in my arms and Livia is having her after-dinner ice cream treat while watching nick jr.
