Livia holding Madison

Friday, September 30th

After coming home from preschool and eating lunch, Livia asked to hold Madison.  I try to say yes everytime she asks unless Madison has to eat, then I ask her to wait until...etc.  She couldn't help but give Madison kisses,  A LOT of kisses.  So instead, I asked her to sing to her.  She sung Madison the "ABC's" and "I love you" which was caught on video.  Here are the pics  (there are a lot).

Happy 2 Months Madison!

Thursday, September 29th

Someone please slow down time!  Two months young already!  You are growing so beautifully.  Yesterday you were cooing so so many sweet coos and giving us big smiles.  You also like to make your hands into fists and punch the air but it's oh so cute.  Today you had your 2 month check-up....and received a round of shots🙁. The vaccines were DTAP, Hib, Hepatitis B, Polio and PCV13 which consisted of 2 shots in one thigh, 1 shot in the other thigh and an oral vaccine.  This was not the highlight of the visit.  We did learn that you weigh 12 pounds 2.5 ounces (75th percentile) and you are 22 and 5/8ths inches (70th percentile). Dr. T. said you were growing beautifully and there were no concerns whatsoever.  I had concerns about the length of time between bowel movements (about 3 days), prune juice was recommended.  I also thought you might have some nasal drip but he said you were all clear.  Here are pictures taken today, though you were in no mood to take them (understandably).  You were sore from receiving your shots.

And...here are the original pictures I used for the above photos.

You were talking in the next 2 pics:

5 minutes...

Wednesday, September 28th

While Madison was napping in her swing, Livia and I were in her room going through her clothes.  We packed most 2t and all summer clothes away (3t bottoms are still a bit big on her), rearranged and organized her closet and then we straightened up her room.  Of course during this time, Livia mostly tried on 30 outfits (I'm exagerating, but not by a lot) just because she saw me take them out and fold them on her bed. Here is an example below (at this point, I also thought it was a good idea for all of her princess dresses and dress up outfits to be in her reach so she didn't have to ask me each time she wanted to put one on).

After we were finished, her room was nice and orderly (including dresser draws and her closet).  I changed Madison and fed her while Livia played in her room.  After about 5 minutes of listening to her playing, I decided to check in on her....

I really wish I took a before picture.  She plays so nicely independently though.  I love watching her play with her houses/castles and all her figurines.  It's adorable.

Peaceful

Just had to take a picture of Madison sleeping, she looked so peaceful.

Mom-mom visits

This weekend was a girls weekend.  We invited mom mom up for the weekend since daddy had weekend plans.  Mom-mom worked from home at our house on Friday and stayed over until Sunday.  Here are the pictures taken.
