The past 3 months have been so awesomely awesome, tiring, frustrating, beautiful, busy, sleepless yet restful, loving and most of all, incredibly fast. I hope the next 3 months slow down a bit but it's highly doubtful since the holidays are approaching. Happy 3 months Madison! You are such a beautiful baby and your personality is starting to blossom. I love how much you smile. It brings so much happiness to all of us to be able to put a smile on your face effortlessly. It's nice that both you and Livia have been similar in that respect. You still have bright blue eyes, maybe they are here to stay or maybe it will take a little more time to change. Either way, they are beautiful.
I say the last 3 months have been awesome because I (and I think daddy too) never imagined the family we would be able build, and we love every aspect of it. Tiring, because well, some nights are sleepless with both you and Livia waking up and then the days are non-stop-on-the-go, hence busy. I say frustrating because there were brief time periods where I wasn't sure what was causing the evening colic. Was it gas? Was it because of something I ate? Trouble with bowel movements? Was it just colic? Could it have been a combination of different things? It usually occured for about 2 hours in the evening starting around 4 weeks old and lasted until about 11 weeks. I am happy to report that it has ended as of 2 weeks ago. The past 3 months have been beautiful because I could never have predicted how much love I would see come from your sister. It truly is beautiful to see Livia express her love for you. Your eyes light up when she talks to you as well. Though some days are tiring, others are restful. Restful in the sense that, number 1, I'm off until February 3rd. ❤π Secondly, Livia goes to preschool 2 days a week (Tues/Fri) from 7am to 11:45am which allows for Madison & mommy time. Daddy also gets up early some weekends which allows mommy to sleep in. And, lastly, on occassion, if both you and your sister happen to nap at the same time, I will take advantage. These pictures are precious. Here are some things you love right now:
