We welcomed Madison Taylor into the world and into our family today. She was born at 12:05pm @ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
She was 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 inches long. Delivery was relatively quick. We were admitted into labor and delivery close to 7am. I received pitocin at 8:20 and then the epidural at 9:30 (requested it around 9am). My water broke minutes after being administered the epidural at 9:45. Dr. Caban came in to check my dialation after I let them know I felt a lot of pressure and she said we were at 10 cm and everyone began to prepare for delivery. Our nurse, Nikki, told us I was in labor for 4 hours and pushed for 12 minutes. Here are all the hospital pictures (there's a lot)!

Here are pictures before anyone visited the hospital. Daddy has a play-by-play of the delivery through a group text message. Family and close friends new exactly what was going on as it was happening...I'll have to get those messages and post them. Aunt Amy asked me..."did you know Mike was updating us through text?" I responded that I did not. She said, "we knew exactly when everything was happening, even when the baby was crowning". Too funny!
Here are pictures of Gram, Mom-mom and Livia meeting Madison for the first time. We made Livia a happy big sister day bag and we gave it to her from her little sister. Contents included a couple big sister shirts, a book (title: I'm a big sister), some activities and snacks.
Mom-mom was changing a poopy diaper...

More family came to visit including Aunt Amy, Aunt Bonny, Great Grandmom & Great Grandpop.
Here are pictures mom-mom sent of Livia today after she did her hair. We can't wait to come home with Madison and be with Livia too!
Here is a side-by-side comparison of Livia and Madison while both in the hospital
