Today Livia stayed home from school because around 3 am in the morning she threw up and was up for about 2 hours before going back to sleep. She told us she didn't feel good. Around 7:00 she woke up and seemed her normal self...almost like nothing was wrong. Daddy left for school and then around 7:45 we were lounging in mommy and daddy's bed watching the ipad and then Livia started coughing really hard and gagged to the point where she threw up again...but it was mostly mucas. I made an appointment to see the dr at 1030. We didn't really get any definitive answers. Just that it wasn't strep, it could be a stomach virus and if the cough doesn't go away in a few days that she might be need a chest xray to rule out pneumonia even though her lungs sounded clear. Livia ended up throwing up again while at the dr....after coughing, it was mostly water and mucas. Anyway, when we pulled in the driveway, a package was being delivered to our doorstep. I brought it inside. Livia took off her coat and boots and crawled right into bed. I opened the package and was pleasantly surprised to find the Rapunzel doll Gram ordered (it wasn't suppose to arrive until Friday).
Livia was so excited to receive Rapunzel! She loves how long her hair is. Here are some pictures of Livia with Rapunzel (on 4/7 when she was feeling a little better):
